An amazing return at Vinitaly ’22: important recognitions for our organic wines!
Two great mentions at Wine Without Wall, the competition entirely dedicated to the organic wines, organized in occasion of Vinitaly 2022.
Finally, after two years of forced stop, Vinitaly, one of the most important Italian fairs of the wine sector, came physically back. And accordingly, also Wine Without Wall, the competition organized by Veronafiere in occasion of the event.
And exactly in this last edition, our wines had a great success among the panel of the organic wines section of the “5StarWines” guide.
Our Classic Method Brut Nature received a score of 91 points: a great success that recognizes the constant dedication to this wine and the production processes that improve year by year, along with the ageing on the lees that is currently of 36 months. A sparkling wine you can directly taste at our winery, coming from Chardonnay and Manzoni Bianco grapes, straw yellow in colour and characterized by a faint and persistent perlage.
The second mention was assigned to “Huakai”, that racked 90 points up. A white wine coming from Bronner resistant grapes, characterized by ripe fruit notes and an elegant structure. A PIWI wine that is giving us great satisfaction and that entails an important and meticulous dedication in the vineyards minimizing the environmental impact: “Huakai” has already obtained the gold medal with 93 points at the International Piwi Wine Awards 2021 and the bronze Medal at the Challenge Millesime Bio 2022.
“A moment we have been waiting for many months and that has finally come: after a long time we have been given the chance to see our clients again. An edition, that of Vinitaly 2022, that has been satisfying from many points of view. On the one hand, our wines stood in the organic section of a national competition out, proving once again the high quality you can have through the commitment and the respect towards the nature, which is our main goal. On the other hand, we registered great results also from a business point of view. Despite the situation has not completely come back to normality, together with the difficult period of global tension, that impeded some markets to be present, we can consider ourselves really happy for the new relations we struck up, always with the aim of consolidating the old ones and creating new relationships” – these are thewords of Sabrina Rodelli, export manager and co-owner of La Cantina Pizzolato.
